Pembuatan Media Kertas pH dari Ekstrak Bunga Kertas sebagai Indikator Asam Basa Alami di SMK Farmasi Syekh Yusuf Al-Makassari Gowa

Paper flowers are flowers that can grow even in the dry season and are usually used as decoration for home gardens and road decorations as a stabilizer for motor vehicle and car exhaust gases. Paper flowers can be used as a pH paper medium by extracting them using 95% ethanol solvent. The extract obtained which is brown in color is used to soak filter paper. The filter paper soak is a pH paper medium that can be used to test the acidic and basic properties of a test solution. The use of paper flower extract as an acid-base pH medium is one way to increase the existing potential, both human resource potential and natural potential in the community environment. Bearing this in mind, community service is carried out at the Syekh Yusuf Al-Makassari Pharmacy Vocational School by trying to provide education on the use of paper flower extract as an acid-base pH paper medium through lectures, interactive discussions and direct practical workshops. It is hoped that from this counseling, students will be able to increase their potential both in terms of human resources and the natural potential that exists in the community environment in utilizing natural resources as learning media.
